I’ve been a sales professional for over 20 years across a variety of industries: technical chemical coatings, enterprise network infrastructure, and even the paddle sports industry. Throughout my years of technical selling, I’ve developed a style of selling solutions (not just products) that is designed to help my customer’s business for the long term. I have great enthusiasm for developing lasting relationships with my customers and truly enjoy getting to know the people that I meet when representing BARTON. I am a graduate from the University of Idaho with degrees in Anthropology and Geology. I enjoy skiing, climbing tall things, whitewater kayaking and travelling.

I joined BARTON in 2019 after spending 15 years in manufacturing sales. Over the course of my career, I have developed strong client support skills as a result of my varied experience in direct sales, sales operations and team building. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, I currently live in Rome, Georgia. When I am not working, I enjoy playing golf and distance running.

As Regional Sales Manager, I serve customers in the Northeastern states of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Since joining BARTON in 2008, I’ve gained experience in a variety of positions within the company, including logistics and inside sales, that prepared me for success supporting customers on the road. I have a bachelor’s degree in business management from the State University of New York - Plattsburgh, and I’m a lifelong resident of the Adirondacks. My passion for customer satisfaction motivates me to match each customer with just what they need — from my office or when I’m in the field.

I have been in industrial sales for over 25 years — 16 of them with BARTON, helping customers choose superior garnet and waterjet parts to fit their needs. Prior to joining BARTON, I spent 10 years in equipment and tooling sales, and earlier in life, I worked as a machinist in various shops, which helped lay the groundwork for my career in the manufacturing sector. I’ve been a resident of Southern California all my life, and I enjoy building classic cars in my garage and riding dirt bikes in the desert. The California lifestyle fits me perfectly!

In 1991, I left the last textile mill still operating in Baltimore to begin working for BARTON. I’ve been with the company ever since, and was the first to introduce BARTON garnet to the U.S. blasting market. I enjoy solving problems, improving blast and waterjet operations, testing abrasives, and quantifying their speed and feed rate performance. l was born in Oregon but now live in Maryland. I enjoy sailing, camping, riding and maintaining my old BMW motorcycle, and occasionally brewing a batch of dark beer.

I joined BARTON in 2015 after spending 16 years successfully developing a variety of sales partnerships. I manage the Gulf Coast region and live in south Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans. Having grown up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I have always called this region home. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where I also met and married my wife. Spending time with my family pursuing outdoor activities is something I love, and I enjoy serving customers in my professional life representing BARTON.

I manage sales for the states that make up BARTON’s Central region of the U.S. I joined BARTON in 2014 and have an A.S. in electronic technology from DeVry University and a marketing degree from DePaul University in Chicago. I’ve worked in a sales or managerial capacity in numerous major corporations, including RCA, General Electric, Emerson Electric, and Illinois Tool Works. I have a passion for customer satisfaction and work to create a win-win relationship between BARTON and our customers.

As BARTON’s Great Lakes sales manager since 2006, I would describe myself as friendly, helpful and sincere. I thrive on guiding my customers toward the most cost-effective abrasive and parts solutions. Although I have lived and worked in southeastern Michigan for my entire life, I really struck gold when I married my wife, Catherine, who’s from the western part of the state. We currently reside in Lake Orion, Michigan, which serves as my home office when I’m not out on the road. When you combine my experience with metal preparation sales and service with my BARTON waterjet and blast-media sales, I have 40 years of knowledge and practical insight to offer my customers.
